Join us for a special event with Ayah Bdreir, an entrepreneur, inventor, and interactive artist. She is the founder and CEO of littleBits, an award-winning platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks that is empowering kids everywhere to create inventions, large and small. Bdeir earned a Masters of Science degree from the MIT Media Lab and undergraduate degrees in Computer Engineering and Sociology from the American University of Beirut. She has received numerous awards including Eyebeam in New York, TED fellowship, Popular Mechanics' 25 Makers Who Are Reinventing the American Dream; and just recently was recognized at notable women in tech by Crain’s New York Business. We are honored to have her joining us to discuss the importance of integrating technology with art and design when introducing tech and coding to children.
